Analysis of the metrological infrastructure of the Republic of Kazakhstan

The significance of the article lies in the fact that Kazakhstan does not pay attention to metrology, and its role in various fields of the economy. The methodology of the article is the study of the concept of metrological infrastructure, tasks, and components of the structure, international experience, and terminology used at the international level. The result is a SWOT analysis of the metrology infrastructure of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which clearly presents the strengths and weaknesses, as well as the opportunities and threats arising from them. Considering that this work is one of the first in the field of metrological analytics of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a country review was conducted as a discussion within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union on the indicators of accredited verification laboratories, accredited testing centers, accredited calibration laboratories. In addition, the article presents statistics of developed countries in the metrological world, such as France and the United Kingdom. In conclusion, based on the results of the analysis, a recommendation is presented with which it is necessary to begin the process of transformation of the metrological infrastructure of the republic with a view to deep improvement in conditions of high competition in the world.
